Skyfall Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Tomokazu Hasegawa; hereinafter referred to as Skyfall), which operates an internet advertising business, is pleased to announce that it has won the inaugural Grand Prix at the “MOCHICA User Grand Prix 2023,” announced by NeoCareer Inc. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Ryoichi Nishizawa; hereinafter referred to as NeoCareer), which operates the recruitment management and communication tool “MOCHICA.”

Initiatives implemented by Skyfall
Since last year, Skyfall has consolidated its recruitment management and communication tools into “MOCHICA,” centralizing recruitment operations and successfully reducing time-consuming recruitment costs and improving operational efficiency. As a result, the company has been able to increase opportunities to interact with students during their job search and those who have received job offers, strengthen follow-up with students, and dedicate more time to communicating with them.
① Centralizing the entry process and creating an original Skyfall entry form.
Previously, students wishing to apply to Skyfall were required to submit an entry sheet through various media outlets. However, starting last year, we have changed the process to allow applications via LINE. Furthermore, by creating a Skyfall-original entry form, we have been able to standardize the questions and application methods for all students, regardless of the media they use.

② Changing the communication tool to LINE—a commnutication tool preferred by students.
By switching the communication tool from email to LINE, the response rate from students improved.
Furthermore, because students can easily contact recruiters via LINE, they can resolve detailed questions they couldn’t ask during company information sessions or interviews, which increases student satisfaction during the selection process.

③ Regularly publishing information about Skyfall via LINE.
By consistently publishing timely information about company affairs and events through LINE articles, students are able to proceed with the selection process having read the articles, resulting in an increase in students with a high level of understanding of the company.
Furthermore, by publishing Skyfall newsletters through LINE, a platform frequently used by students, we increase the likelihood of them seeing our content, allowing many students to read our articles.

Kio Ikeda, Head of Human Resources Strategy Department, Skyfall Inc. – Acceptance Speech

I am extremely pleased to have received the Grand Prix at the “MOCHICA Grand Prix 2023”.
Our company began recruiting new graduates in 2021, initially alongside regular operations, primarily by management and back-office staff. However, with the expansion of our company and business, we established a Head of Human Resources Strategy Department in June 2022 to create an environment where we could focus on recruitment, and we began more seriously engaging in recruitment activities with the 2024 new graduate recruitment season. With limited resources, we implemented “MOCHICA” while conducting internships and selection processes. This allowed our recruiters to dedicate more time to communicating with students, which we believe has helped alleviate their anxieties about proceeding with Skyfall’s selection process and fostered mutual understanding. We are extremely honored that the measures we implemented through trial and error have been recognized as highly reproducible.
Our thoughts on hiring process
As the Head of Human Resources Strategy Department, in promoting Skyfall’s corporate mission of “exploring the essence and providing surprises to the world,” we place great importance on ensuring that the talent joining Skyfall resonates with our mission, vision, values, and motto, and that they possess a professional mindset as industry experts, just like our existing employees.
Through our recruitment process, we hope to meet new members and welcome them as Skyfall employees, fostering the emergence of individuals who will lead and contribute to Skyfall’s future success.
In our recruitment of new graduates, we strive to differentiate ourselves as a company by prioritizing students, while also valuing two-way communication between students and Skyfall. We are committed to creating an environment where recruits can envision themselves succeeding at Skyfall and in the market in the medium to long term. This includes not only creating a supportive environment after joining the company, but also deepening mutual understanding and engaging in recruitment activities that are more attentive to students’ needs.
What is the MOCHICA User Grand Prix 2023?
This award, newly established this year, is a grand prix competition among companies using “MOCHICA,” a recruitment tool operated by NeoCareer, to conduct recruitment activities for new graduates, and recognizes the most effective and reproducible case studies. In the first round of judging, each participating company submits an entry sheet, which is then reviewed. In the second round, the three companies that passed the first round give presentations, and the grand prix winner is determined.
