Background for Implementing “SKYFLAG”
“Torima” is a point-earning app that allows users to accumulate points (miles) based on travel distance during commuting, shopping, or traveling, as well as steps taken. The app focuses on acquiring new users and encouraging continued use by existing users, with the goal of collecting highly accurate location data that can be utilized for Geotechnologies’ core business of map development.
“Torima,” which began ad monetization at its initial release in July 2020, introduced reward monetization through an offerwall in October of the same year. Recognizing the limitations of maximizing revenue through the existing reward monetization, the app implemented “SKYFLAG” in January 2024 with the goal of establishing a new revenue foundation.
Purpose of Implementing “SKYFLAG”
- Establishing a new revenue base independent of existing reward-based monetization
Challenges Faced Before Implementing “SKYFLAG”
- Establishing a mid- to long-term framework to stabilize revenue
- A system that enables smooth implementation of requests related to campaign operations, UI improvements, and creatives
Results after implementing “SKYFLAG”
With “SKYFLAG,” the placement of offers (ads) is optimized by carefully balancing the achievement points of the offers and the challenge thresholds for users. Through adjustments to offer content and detailed operational improvements, long-term revenue stability is achieved. Additionally, close collaboration with dedicated account managers enables an efficient system for proposing and implementing campaign operations and UI improvements.
Furthermore, by monitoring campaign performance and user behavior through regular meetings and ongoing communication, optimization efforts have led to consistent revenue growth. This ability to flexibly operate campaigns is highly valued by the partner.

Post-Implementation Results
- By optimizing the balance between offer (ad) completion points and challenge difficulty, long-term revenue stability is achieved.
- Through collaboration with a dedicated account manager, we have successfully implemented campaign operations and UI improvements.
We also covered advertising monetization strategies of “Torima”, as well as efforts to improve revenue, and initiatives leveraging “SKYFLAG” to maximize earnings without compromising the user experience.
