Appointment of new Executive Officer aimed at building a robust organizational framework and achieving long-term business growth
Skyfall Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Tomokazu Hasegawa; hereinafter “Skyfall”) has been running its organizational framework and business operations centered around executive officers since it established the executive officer system to further strengthen its management structure and business foundations. We are pleased to announce that one new Executive Officer has been newly appointed under this system.
With a focus on the marketing platform business, Skyfall develops and operates “SKYFLAG,” an ad monetization platform that places focus on the user experience, as well as “SKYFLAG Research,” a marketing research service dedicated to capturing highly representative data, contributing to solving monetization challenges and accelerating business growth for our corporate clients.
Furthermore, in the app media business, the company develops and operates “Poker Chase”—a novel Japanese poker game—alongside “Pocket Play,” an app where users can engage in reward-earning activities simply by playing games. Through these efforts, the company embraces various daily challenges to fulfill its founding vision of “Creating a world where good things spread,”
To drive further business growth and organizational expansion moving forward, the company sought to enhance its organizational framework even further. Consequently, Ryuji Shimada—who has supported the sales, operations, and development sectors of our core business since our founding to expand “SKYFLAG,” successfully driving revenue increases and business growth across the divisions under his management—has been newly appointed as Executive Officer.

After joining an advertising agency in March 2015, seconded to Adways Inc., where he engaged in digital ad operations focusing on game apps.
From April 2017, joined Bank of Innovation, Inc., working on game app marketing where he handled a wide range of both online and offline marketing initiatives, contributing to business growth.
Joined Skyfall Inc. in October 2019. After establishing the ad management and CS teams, managed multiple departments.
Appointed as General Manager of the Product Headquarters in June 2022, contributing to the reinforcement of the development framework.
Subsequently, appointed as General Manager of the App Headquarters in April 2023, currently overseeing the development and operation of the battle royale-style poker game “Poker Chase” and executing the launch of new services.
